Our idea was to give the community a list of 100 great shows (beyond the usual suspects like 5/8/77) before the archive closes -or at least while you can still get sbds. We started by looking at the results of the voting that took place some time ago to determine the top 25 Grateful Dead shows. That gave us an initial list, which we cross-checked against a list of shows that have been d'loaded from the archive more than 5000 times. And then we closed the book on the "Top 30" shows. Here they are:

These shows are all classics, and you should have them all, but they will not be included in our list. We wanted to dig a little deeper and find the next 100. As we agreed, here are the parameters.

10 shows from 1991-95 = 100..."
